KEYWORD SEARCH

Enter the Keyword(s) in to the text box ‘keyword search’. Leave the drop down menu at ‘ all categories ‘ and click the search button.  This will search for pictures throughout the whole database. You may instead look for a specifique category in the drop down  menu such as ‘wildlife’ , and  enter your keyword in the search box. This will conduct the search inside all the wildlife images of the database.

If you enter more than one keyword into the searchbox , select also one of the options  ‘AND’, ‘OR’ or ‘PHRASE’, but do not use this words in the text box itself.

AND will search images with all the keywords entered.

OR  searches images containing any of the keywords you enter.

PHRASE  will search for images with the Keywords in the order you entered.
Do not write the words ‘ and’  ‘ on’ , ‘or’,  into the search box, as this words are automatically removed from the search.

Category Search

On the right side of the page, in the drop down menu text box click on the category you wish to search and click the search button to go directly into the desired category. You may will find subcategories to further narrow down the images  you are looking for.

If you now the Image Number  simply write the number (as example  RKD60008 ) into the Search box and click  the ‘ search ‘ button.

Search by using Keyword List:
If you are looking for a specifique image you can also click the’ Keyword List’  at the top of the page. Containing Hundreds of Keywords  this will show you all images of the database which relate to the keyword selected.

To return to the search you can always use your browser back button.

Lightboxes

Lightboxes are  a useful tool to safe and organize your image selections. If you find a image
You would like to safe in a lightbox just click the lightbox symbol below the thumbnail. To open your lightbox just go to the top right of your searchpage, open your lightbox. You may rename  copy , print or E-Mail the lightbox with your favorite images to order your images .
